2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS

Gaswerks Garage is pleased to present our 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS. The 991 GT2 RS was initially unveiled at the Xbox 2017 E3 briefing along with the announcement of the Forza Motorsport 7 video game where it was revealed as the cover car as well as being included as a playable vehicle. The car was officially launched by Porsche at the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The 991 GT2 RS is powered by a 3.8 L twin-turbocharged flat-6 engine that has a maximum power output of 691 hp at 7,000 rpm and 553 lb⋅ft of torque, making it the most powerful production 911 variant ever built. Unlike the previous GT2 versions, this car is fitted with a 7-speed PDK transmission to handle the excessive torque produced from the engine. Porsche claims that the car will accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.7 seconds, and has a top speed of 211 mph. The car has a roof made of magnesium, front lid, front and rear wings and boot lid made of carbon-fiber, front and rear apron made of lightweight polyurethane, rear and side windows made of polycarbonate and an exhaust system made of titanium. Porsche claims that the car has a wet weight of 3,241 lb. A Weissach package option is available, which reduces weight by 66 lb, courtesy of the additional use of carbon-fiber and titanium parts. This includes the roof, the anti-roll bars, and the coupling rods on both axles being made out of carbon-fiber, while the roll cage is made from titanium. The package also includes a set of magnesium wheels. The car was available in the United States from early 2018. A production run of 1,000 units was planned. The production run of the GT2 RS was to end by February 2019 but four units were lost in transit to Brazil due to the sinking of the ship Grande America on which the cars were on board in March 2019. Porsche decided to restart production to reproduce the lost cars. In late September 2017, the 911 GT2 RS driven by Porsche test driver Lars Kern set a 6:47.3 minute lap time around the Nürburgring Nordschleife, averaging a speed of 114.40 mph. This made it the fastest production car lap time recorded on the track at the time. In 2018, Warren Luff at the wheel of the GT2 RS (without the Weissach package) set the fastest production lap record at The Bend Motorsport Park with a lap time of 3:24.079 minutes around the 7.77 km GT layout. On 25 October 2018, a 6:40.33 minute lap time around the Nürburgring Nordschleife was set by Porsche test driver Lars Kern in a 911 GT2 RS MR prepared by Porsche-owned Manthey Racing, surpassing the previous record holder, an unmodified Lamborghini Aventador SVJ that dethroned the GT2 RS of its record during July 2018. In 2019 Porsche set further production lap records with the car at various North American circuits – 1:24.88 minutes at Road Atlanta, 2:15.17 minutes at Road America and 1:22.36 minutes at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. 2002 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe

Gaswerks Garage is pleased to present our 2002 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe. The Porsche 911 is a two-door high performance rear-engine sports car. It has a rear-mounted flat-six engine and all round independent suspension. It has undergone continuous development, though the basic concept has remained unchanged. The engines were air-cooled until the introduction of the Type 996 in 1998. The Type 996 introduced in 1998 represented two major changes for the venerable 911 lineage: a water-cooled flat-6 engine replaced the popular air-cooled engine used in the 911 for 34 years, and the body shell received its first major re-design. In 2000, Porsche launched the turbocharged version of the Type 996 for the 2001 model year. The Turbo’s engine was derived from the engine used in the 911 GT1 and, like its predecessor, featured twin-turbos and now had a power output of 414 hp. Also like its predecessor, the new Turbo was only available with all-wheel drive. The Turbo can attain a top speed of 189 mph. The styling was more individual than the previous generations of the Turbo. Along with the traditional wider rear wing, the 996 Turbo had different front lights and bumpers when compared to the Carrera and Carrera 4. The rear bumper had air vents reminiscent of those on the 959 and there were large vents on the front bumper. Our car comes equipped with:

1989 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet

Gaswerks Garage is proud to offer this highly original and very well-preserved 1989 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet. This is one of just 600 North American Turbo Cabriolets built for the 1989 model year. This is a rare and highly desirable car with 1989 being the last year of the G50 gearbox, and the only year for a 5 speed 930 Turbo in the United States. The build specification includes Linen Grey Metallic Paint, Black partial leather interior, US Standard Emissions, Blaupunkt Radio “Reno,” Limited Slip Differential, Amplifier System, Supple Leather Seats and Goodyear Tires. Although not listed on the COA, the convertible top is power and works very well. The Carfax indicates it was first registered in Crestview, Florida and remained there until 2013 when it was sold to a resident of Fairbanks, AK. During its life in Crestview, it was serviced in nearby Mobile, Alabama. While in Alaska for three years, it was rarely driven and was part of an impressive collection of Porsches. This car runs and drives very well and has beautiful paint. The interior is amazing for the age of this car and astonishing for a convertible. The leather seats are soft. The steering wheel has barely ever seen sunlight and feels great. This example is complete with owner’s manuals, Certificate of Authenticity, tire inflation kit, jack and tool kit.
