This 1600 is a true survivor, with only 43,000 miles since new, it really is a true time capsule. The engine bay is like new – not a drop of oil can be found – clean is an understatement. The team at Gaswerks recently had the engine out for work and fully detailed the engine bay at the same time, the results are amazing as you can see in the photos. The car is powered by a 1600cc 4 cylinder engine mated to a 4 speed Getrag gearbox. The car is an absolute blast to drive. The reason the 1600/2002 were so popular was because of the way they handled. They used independent front and rear suspension unlike cars of the same era that used a solid rear axle. The independent suspension allowed the car to drive like a go kart with incredible response and handling.

The interior of the car is spotless. The dashboard is crack free, the interior has no rips, stains or scuffs.
