2008 LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO SUPERLEGGERA COUPE - A213P
At the 2007 Geneva Auto Show Lamborghini unveiled the Gallardo Superleggera. The name paid tribute to the construction style of the first Lamborghini production model, the 350GT. The Superleggera has a major emphasis on weight reduction. The Superleggera is lighter than the base model by 100 kg (220 lb) due the use of carbon fiber panels for the rear diffuser, undertray, the rearview-mirror housings, the interior door panels, the central tunnel, engine cover; titanium wheel nuts and carbon fibre sports seats. The engine power was uprated by 10 PS (7 kW; 10 hp) courtesy of an improved intake, exhaust and ECU for a total power output of 530 PS (390 kW; 523 hp). Production of the Superleggera amounted to 618 units worldwide. Gaswerks Garage is pleased to offer this model in our inventory:

1968 BMW 1800 NEUE KLASSE
BMW’s Neue Klasse was introduced in 1961 and marked the company’s first mid-range series since the Second World War, bridging the gap between the top-of-the-line 501/502 and the more affordable 700s and Isettas. It was also one of the first BMWs to receive the Hofmeister kink at the base of C-pillar, which can be seen on most of their coupes and sedans to this day. This car and the 1600 were the cars that the famous 2002 was built on. BMW was having a hard time staying in business and it was the release of the Neue Klasse series of cars that saved them.
Gaswerks Garage is pleased to offer this stunning 1968 BMW 1800 in Turf Green with a beautiful Grey interior. Powered by a 1.8L M10 making for a very exciting and fun ride! The M10 is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission that shifts without grinds or noises. The engine runs beautifully and runs very smooth. The engine and transmission are numbers matching.

The car is equipped with it’s original radio. The story of this car is quite interesting: The car was reportedly sold new in Switzerland, where it remained with the first owner for over four decades. A German collector purchased it from the original owner’s estate in 2006 and kept it for the following seven years. Gaswerks has gone through this car to make sure it drives as good as it looks. The Porsche 914-6 is a mid-engined sports car designed, manufactured and marketed collaboratively by Volkswagen and Porsche from 1969 to 1976. By the late 1960s, both Volkswagen and Porsche were in need of new models; Porsche was looking for a replacement for their entry-level 912, and Volkswagen wanted a new range-topping sports coupe to replace the Karmann Ghia coupe. Through their collaboration, the Porsche 914 was born. The 914 was available in two configurations, the standard 914 with VW 4-cylinder air cooled engine, or the 914-6 with a 911 flat six engine. The 914-6 was the ultimate sleeper of it’s time.

1964 SHELBY COBRA CSX2210 - A205P
Of all the great 1960s sports cars, few have been as influential as the Shelby Cobra. Le
Mans-winning driver Carroll Shelby reasoned that Ford’s new lightweight V-8 would make a
promising powerplant for a sporting chassis, so he fitted the new engine to an AC Ace. The
result, the Cobra, combined California hot rod know-how with European chassis dynamics. In
competition trim, Cobras achieved an impressive record, and were a major force in Ford’s
dominance of international sports car racing in the 1960s.
Gaswerks Garage is pleased to offer this stunning 1964 289 Shelby Cobra. As
documented by the Shelby Registry, as well as a copy of the factory invoice, this 289 Cobra,
chassis CSX2210, was shipped from AC to Los Angeles aboard the SS Pacific Fortune on
November 14, 1963. The Cobra stayed at Shelby American’s facility in Los Angeles, where it
may have been used as a factory demonstrator, before being sold to dealer Joe Brown Ford in
Louisville, Kentucky, on May 15, 1964. Originally finished in red with a black interior, it was
equipped with “Class A” accessories, which included chrome wheels and a radio with antenna.
By March 1965, the Cobra had been purchased by Louisville resident John M.
Winemiller, who started enjoying the car immediately by competing in local autocrosses. Mr.
Winemiller became acquainted with notable Cobra racer Don Roberts, who had purchased a
number of surplus XE-specification racing engines from Carroll Shelby and Lew Spencer’s
Hi-Performance Motors after the shop’s closing in 1967. These engines featured a special block
casting with four-bolt main bearing caps and a windage tray, and were developed by Ford for
use in GT40s and endurance-racing sedans. Roberts reportedly rebuilt one of these extremely
rare engines for CSX2210 and installed it with a GT40-style intake and Weber carburetors, the
setup that remains in the car to this day. The Shelby would go to Mr. Winemiller’s son Jake after
his father’s passing in the early 1970s.
By 1983, Harry Campbell of Grain Valley, Missouri, had bought the Cobra from Jake
Winemiller. In 1985, Mr. Campbell delivered the Shelby to esteemed Cobra restoration expert
Bill Murray of Longmont, Colorado. As documented by accompanying receipts and photos,
CSX2210 was given a ground-up, no-expense spared restoration to cut-back-door, FIA
specification. The original bodywork was repaired as necessary, while FIA fender flares and a
hood scoop were fabricated and installed. The suspension was re-bushed, the engine rebuilt,
and the finished car painted Dark Blue with traditional white racing stripes. This beautiful work
still presents extremely well today, a testament to the care taken at the time by Murray.
The Cobra has been selectively upgraded over time to fit the intended use and tastes of
its fastidious caretakers, the two families who cherished the car for over 50 years. Now,
tastefully presented with its desirable FIA-specification bodywork and extremely rare
competition-derived engine, this Cobra stands out among its peers with its unique substance
Enthusiasm for the Shelby Cobra continues unabated today and is a testament to the
alluring qualities bestowed upon it by Shelby American. This is an incredibly rare opportunity to
own one of the most legendary cars ever produced. Please contact Gaswerks Garage for

1968 BMW 1600 COUPE - A199P
Gaswerks Garage is pleased to offer this incredibly beautiful 1968 Florida Green BMW 1600!
This car was what started the craze of a small and sporty german sedan. It soon led to the
production of the famous 2002 which was the car that saved BMW.
This 1600 is a true survivor, with only 43,000 miles since new, it really is a true time
capsule. The engine bay is like new - not a drop of oil can be found - clean is an
understatement. The team at Gaswerks recently had the engine out for work and fully detailed
the engine bay at the same time, the results are amazing as you can see in the photos. The car
is powered by a 1600cc 4 cylinder engine mated to a 4 speed Getrag gearbox. The car is an
absolute blast to drive. The reason the 1600/2002 were so popular was because of the way they
handled. They used independent front and rear suspension unlike cars of the same era that
used a solid rear axle. The independent suspension allowed the car to drive like a go kart with
incredible response and handling.
The interior of the car is spotless. The dashboard is crack free, the interior has no rips,
stains or scuffs. The dark brown upholstery looks fantastic against the Florida Green paint and
really makes this the ultimate summer driver. Don’t wait! You won’t find another one! Call

2002 BMW Z8 ROADSTER - A185P
Gaswerks Garage is pleased to offer this incredibly beautiful 2002 BMW Z8 Roadster! The BMW Z8 is a roadster produced by German automotive manufacturer BMW from 2000 to 2003. The Z8 Roadster had an all-aluminum chassis and body and used a 4,941 cc (4.9 L; 301.5 cu in) V8 engine which has a power output of 395 hp at 6,600 rpm and 369 lb./ft of torque at 3,800 rpm. This engine, known internally as the S62, was built by BMW Motorsport and was shared with the E39 M5 sports saloon. The engine is located behind the front axle in order to provide the car with a 50/50 weight distribution. The factory claimed a 0–62 mph acceleration time of 4.7 seconds; Motor Trend magazine achieved 0–60 mph in 4.2 seconds. Road and Track measured the car's lateral grip at 0.92. Car and Driver magazine also tested the car and found that it outperformed the contemporary benchmark Ferrari 360 Modena in three important performance categories: acceleration, handling, and braking. As with most BMW automobiles the top speed of the Z8 was electronically limited to 155.4 mph with the delimited top speed amounting to an estimated 180 mph!!
The Z8 used neon exterior lighting, the tail lights and turn indicators are powered by neon tubes that offer quicker activation than standard lightbulbs and are expected to last for the life of the vehicle.
Every car was shipped with a color-matching metal hardtop with a rear defroster. Unlike many contemporary hardtops, which are provided for practical rather than stylistic considerations, the hardtop of the Z8 was designed from the outset to complement the lines of the car's styling.
In order to keep the interior uncluttered, several functions were integrated into multifunction controls. For example, the power windows and mirrors were controlled by a single instrument. Also, the center-mounted instrument cluster was canted slightly toward the driver. The displacement of gauges to the middle of the dash board was intended to offer an unimpeded view of the hood and the road ahead.

1992 PORSCHE 911 AMERICA ROADSTER - A127P
The Porsche 964 was Designed by Benjamin Dimson in January 1986, it featured significant styling revisions over previous 911 models, most prominently the more integrated bumpers. Like the 356 America Roadster it was named after, the Type 964 America Roadster was a limited-edition, driver-focused convertible destined for the American market.
Gaswerks Garage is pleased to offer this stunning 1992 Guards Red 964 Roadster with only 32,000 miles since new. Featuring a 247HP 3.6L air cooled flat six, the same engine used in the standard 964. There is no wear on the bolsters which is a common occurrence on the 964. The convertible top, dash and carpet are absolutely perfect as well. On the 964 Roadster, the small rear seats were replaced with a parcel shelf with storage compartments underneath, adding to the sporting nature of the car.
The prominent differences of the 964 Roadster are the wide fender flares, suspension, brakes, and 17-inch Porsche Cup wheels of the 911 Turbo. The wide Turbo-style body and lack of a rear spoiler gives the America Roadster an aggressive look.

1995 BMW M3 LIGHTWEIGHT "M3 CSL" - A161P
Beginning with the first E36 M3s delivered, BMW racers began pressuring BMW for a homologation version with which to compete against Porsche 911s in sports-car racing. A homologation version is a car with special modifications from the factory that are allowed in racing as "production" cars, if enough cars are made and sold. In 1995, BMW relented and offered the E36 M3 Lightweight.
Gaswerks Garage is proud to offer this stunning, original paint E36 M3 Lightweight. Unlike a regular E36 M3 lightweight, this E36 M3 features a powerful and rare Group N/GT Engine rending this possibly one of the best examples of an E36 M3 lightweight. Owned previously by BMWCCA members and Factory Race Drivers, this car has been carefully owned and never abused. Unlike a regular E36 M3, The major changes to the car were to lower the weight for racing. The cars came without a radio (although the speakers were installed and the car pre-wired for the radio), air conditioning, leather seats, tool kit, or a sunroof. The doors have aluminum skins. There is no underbonnet insulation blanket and the trunk only has carpet on the floor. Overall the changes added up to 200 lb (91 kg) less than a standard M3.
This car drives absolutely wonderfully, it is in part due to being fitted with the shorter springs from the European M3. The car produced 287 RWHP on a dyno, a very great figure for a naturally aspirated straight six. The engine makes no strange noises or rattles and absolutely sings in the higher RPMs. Power is delivery through a 5 speed gearbox that shifts smoothly and without hesitation.
The interior is immaculate with no stains or rips, and has been fitted with a period correct BMW radio which makes road trips or sunday drives even more enjoyable when you’re not listening to the Group N exhaust. The seats, headliner, dash and carpet are all in “like-new” condition.
The engine bay is spotless, no drips, stains or oil can be found inside. The straight-six engine looks as if it was just installed yesterday. The conversion was done by TC Kline in Columbus, Ohio. TC Kline is known for their BMW racing experience. Own a piece of BMW racing history. With only 125 cars built and only 116 cars sold to the public, this is an incredibly rare opportunity to own one of the most legendary M3s ever produced.

1993 PORSCHE 911 RS AMERICA COUPE - A172P
The Porsche 964 was Designed by Benjamin Dimson in January 1986, it featured significant styling revisions over previous 911 models, most prominently the more integrated bumpers. It had added styling queues and features such as a power rear spoiler. It was the first car to be offered with Porsche's optional Tiptronic automatic transmission and all wheel drive as options. In order to please devoted American 911 enthusiasts who wanted an RS model, Porsche produced the RS America. The RS America was produced as a model year 1993 and 1994 car based on the US Carrera 2. The cars were offered in standard colors red, black and white and optional colors midnight blue metallic and polar silver. Several paint to order cars were manufactured in speed yellow. The RS America featured a distinctive "whale tail" spoiler, a partially stripped interior with flat door panels (from the European RS) and carpeting along with a luggage shelf replacing the rear seats. Cloth covered sports seats, 17 inch wheels and M030 Sports Suspension were fitted as standard. The logo "RS America" was written on the deck lid along with an "RS" logo in front of the rear wheels. Deleted to save weight were power steering, cruise control, powered side mirrors, air-conditioning, sunroof and radio, although the air-conditioning, sunroof and radio as well as a limited slip differential could be ordered as options. The RS America was listed by Porsche as weighing 2,954 pounds (1,340 kg), 77 pounds (35 kg) lighter than the weight listed for a stock Carrera 2. The standard US Carrera 2 brakes, engine and gearbox were used.
Gaswerks Garage is pleased to offer this very clean 1993 RS America featured in Guards Red with only 33,000 miles since new. The RSA features a 3.6L engine producing 260HP. Signature “RS” style door pulls give the car an even more race car like feel.
